Bethany Christian School students have been enjoying participating in a variety of camps this spring. At the end of March our 5th graders attended science camp at Thousand Pines. They enjoyed their outdoor education which included such activities as archery, rock climbing, hiking, and wilderness survival. As an added treat it snowed so they got to go tubing and have snowball fights.
In mid-April the 4th graders went to Indian Hills Camp for a gold rush camp in which they got to pan for gold, stake a claim, practice archery, and learn about California history.
At the end of April our 6th, 7th, and 8th graders attended Rawhide Ranch where they learned about riding and caring for horses and enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking and archery.
It has been a wonderful season of camps for our 4th - 8th graders!
