The Sierra Madre Playhouse put on an excellent rendition of E.B. White’s book, *Stuart Little!* BCS Kindergarteners, 1st graders, and 3rd graders got to enjoy the performance. The theater personnel gave us insider information about set design, props, lighting, and sound. After the play was over, the actors came back out to answer student questions. It was an amazing theatrical experience!
The 3rd graders are building complex 3D shapes! We can't wait to show off the finished products!
Caterpillar update from First Grade: one of our caterpillars has entered the chrysalis stage. The other four are hanging from the top of their enclosure and will become pupas soon!

The current batch of first grade Morning Tubs has students telling time, graphing frogs, observing nature, matching up multiple-meaning words, and more! What a fun way to review and learn!

We have so many awesome readers at BCS! Even at recess, students are sharing good books with one another!
The 3rd graders have been having fun learning about area and perimeter!
Today the Kindergarteners were expanding their knowledge of fossils and dinosaurs so they went searching for fossils on our playground. They even found some!
The caterpillars are here! First grade is learning about insects and the life cycle of a butterfly. These little larva will help us watch that life cycle unfold, firsthand! The initial day of observation is complete. We cannot keep our eyes off these new additions!
